Angel Waterfall of Venezuela


Angel Fall is the highest waterfall  the world ever had viewed. The waterfall is situated at  Venezuela in South America. It falls from a height of  979 m (3,212 feet) making it highest waterfall  in the world. Angel Falls is one among the top tourist attractions of Venezuela. The region including the waterfall is very calm, quiet and greenery making the place more attractive and beautiful. The falls has a clear far drop that the water vaporizes along with the wind and becomes mist well before reaching ground. The Falls is also known as Kerepakupai meru which means "waterfall of the deepest place."

1. Angel falls reach more than twenty six hundred feet up, so they are roughly 15-20 times as high as Niagara Falls.

2. When the water level becomes high, it is possible to feel the spray from these falls up to a mile away.

3. To travel from the bottom of the falls to the top it may take days or even weeks.

4. Angel falls received its name because of an US adventurer pilot who was named Jimmy Angel. Angel's plane crashed near the top of the falls in the year 1937, and then presented to the world to what he had discovered.

5. In the hotter and drier periods, most of the water evaporates before reaching the ground.

6. Angel Falls has a bottom base of one hundred and fifty meters in which the water falls the ground.

7. Angel Falls during the rainy season may divide into two separate waterfalls.
