Moonbow-Lunar Rainbow

Looks Awesome....Right?

These are Moonbow which is also known as lunar rainbow or white rainbow  or space rainbow.
The rainbow is naturally produced by light rays which are reflected by the surface of the moon and then refracting through the moist air. Moonbow are relatively faint compared to a natural rainbow because of the smaller quantity of light reflected from the surface of the moon. Moonbows are always occurred or formed at the opposite part of the sky from the direction of moon.

Moonbows are easily viewed when the moon become near to full. However as the light is usually too faint to excite the cone color receptors in human eyes, it is difficult for the human eye to distinguish the colors in a moonbow. As a result, they often appear to be white. The colors in a moonbow mainly appear in long exposure photographs.
